The fuel door button doesn't work anymore. When I push the button, nothing happens. Is there a fuse I can replace? Why would this happen? I've been using the manual release from the trunk.

When I fuel the Prius, the gas pump stops every few seconds. This is really annoying. One time, it overflowed! How do I fix this issue?

Love the car, but at 101K miles, looks like some issues are coming to surface.

No message at all. It's as if there's no power to the button. i

I think the overflowing and pump stopping are good clues. I recall something about the gas tank having an air tight design to keep fuel fresh, since it can be in there a long time. Perhaps that button also cooperates a pressure valve to allow a fill up.

correct. check the manual, the system is malfunctioning, but i'm not sure if it's the lack of message, or an ecu problem not sending the signal to the button.

Checked it. Fuse looks good. I'll need to probably take it in.

Did you check the fuse with a meter? A blown fuse isn't always obvious to the eye.

Still, even if the fuse is blown, whatever caused it to blow is likely to happen again.

i can't wrap my head around the two issues. door won't open, and pump keeps stopping.

somehow, i think they are related, because that is all part of the design.

I didn't test it with a meter rather I replaced it with one of the spares.
