I was thinking how cool it would be if Toyota offered a pickup version of the Prius. Of course, the obvious name is the best part - Prickup. Hauling capacity would be nil, but that hasn't stopped similar models, such as the Subaru Baja. The Prickup bed could easily fit a BBQ grill and a Keg, or even a naggy wife.

There are some very talented and imaginative folks who surf Priuschat.com. Anybody want to submit some photoshop concepts for the Prickup? Bonus points if you show the naggy wife in back. Extra bonus points if you include a Viagra bumper sticker right above the Prickup logo.

I don't know PhotoShop, but if you can wait for my next shipment of WeePris, I'm planning a few more...uh...alterations. :)

Whatza WeePri? You must be new here. :)
Itza 1/34 scale diecast model, available in 6 colours. Hang on and I'll see if I can attach a picture...

...On second thought, there's way more than a thousand words worth of pictures in the original threads. Pay a visit to the Private Sales forum in the PriusChat MarketPlace. Ask for Rufaro.

Here's a Prickup. Created this using Microsoft Digital Image Pro 10.

Is it just me, or does "Prickup" sound like a great name for the next new Erectile Dysfunction drug?

I think it might work. I always thought it was a shame that these kinds of
trucks (VW Rabbit, and didn't Chrysler offer something similar?) never caught on
    more.

I don't know ... I was thinking pretty much the same thing, but didn't know how to articulate it. Thanks Evan! [IMG]

Careful with the naggy wife comments, you'll end up riding in the back with the prickdown. Too bad car company's don't have as good a sense of humor.

Okay, I'm confused. This is just a concept. I thought TonyPSchaefer already had one?

Personally, I think the Priup might have more road presence if we added a chrome-plated vertical exhaust pipe on each side, dually tires in the back, a set of air horns and clearance lights on top, and mudflaps with those attractive chrome silhouettes of naked women to complete the look.

    It'll pull a fifth-wheel trailer, right...?
