I have been living with this on my HUD for 3 years. I recently tried Isopropyl Alcohol, polishing compound, etc. it looks worse in the picture than it does in person. It is most likely from a detail I had a couple years ago and the product they used baked in the sun. Can anyone please HELP?!?

    Junkyard. LNQ.

Theirs a video on youtube called:

    Prius Combo meter

that shows how to dissemble the dash to get to the combo meter and that whole dash piece comes out. Pretty easy actually. You will snap a few plastic pieces taking it apart but no big deal. At the junkyard you take it apart..

Most junkyards around me the prius's are picked clean. Don't know where you live you didn't post it.

So it's functionally ok, it's just the messed up surface. Maybe clear coat and polish?

A sand pounder, that you pay for someone to do that to it...

Works perfectly. Just the acrylic is messed up. I will try WD 40 and Compound tomorrow

So which surface is messed up?

The sort of horizontal cover of the CM (combination meter), or the sort of vertical cover of the mirror?

And for any others who happen upon this thread in the future, these two surfaces should only be cleaned with a damp, lint-free cloth. Microfibre is good.

The mirror seems fine. The acrylic over the display seems to be the issue.@dolg
