Bad replacement MFD or bad Prius?

I replaced my MFD this evening with one I bought on eBay, and I seem to have a problem. (My original one was an 86110-47080, and I replaced it with an 86110-47081.)

While everything else seems to be OK (I think, although there may be some slight hinkiness with the climate screen), the audio screen doesn't work at all. When I press the Audio button, I get a screen that says "Audio Off." When I press it again, I, of course, go back to the main screen.

Let me note here that I firmly clicked the connectors in place when I installed this MFD; I definitely heard each one click.

My plan tomorrow is to double-check that all the connectors are absolutely, totally pushed in place.

I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me which is the audio connector. I can’t seem to find that info on this forum or, indeed, anywhere online.

And this leads me to my main question: Does this problem with the audio screen sound like a bad MFD or a problem with my Prius?

Thanks in advance for any advice, suggestions, and/or comments. I gratefully appreciate all input.

tell the seller what's happening, they might tell you to return it for another

Thanks so much for your reply.

So you think this sounds like a bad MFD, not a problem with my car (e.g., something wrong with the radio)?

it's impossible to know without testing. but ebay is generally sketchy, and a conversation with the seller may produce some fruit.
if they refuse to replace it, you have lost nothing, and will then have to study how to test the inputs to see if the car is not sending the correct signals, or is it the screen.

is it the exact same problem as the old one? if so, that would lead me to think it is the car. if not, i would think it is a defective mfd.
