I have a Red Triangle, Check Engine on my dashboard, and ((!)) and Fan all the time ON at full speed.

I asked to my garage and borrow a OBD2, I have 3 cells dead on my battery... and another one is very weak
I'm thinking to go for a Replacement battery with Green Bean Battery, or another company.

Do you have any recommandations ?

This but if you can not do the job then green bean is best, dont let anyone on here point you to some user who they used. When they are doing the very same thing and selling them to whoever wants to trust them.

It's a 2005 Prius with how many miles? Are you planning on keeping the car for a while? If so then you want a new battery and there are only 2 real options, 1 is from Toyota directly via the dealer.

If you just want to get through this year before you trade it in or junk it, then almost any battery in the $600+ range will be balanced enough to get you going now and as long as your warranty is longer than the period you expect to keep the car, and you can afford the downtime as it fails, then might as well.

In no circumstances should you pay $1k+ for a USED battery. That's what all the reconditioned, recertified, re-awesomed batteries are. Used.

That advice is directly opposite to the vast majority of users here across the years. Go away and promote Green Bean elsewhere.

Really? Have you purchased one from them? Has anyone opened theirs up and actually looked in it and checked the manufactured dates on the modules? Relax ok they are not the only company that can be thrown around on here simply because they are a user or website admins/owners.

I would fix it myself ans save thousands and not go to any company now that I know how to fix them.

there's nothing to open, it's a cell only purchase. you use your old battery case.

    True.
That is why some of our expert users who repair Hybrids fir a living tested the kit before it was widely promoted here. All other options offered by companies have proven to perform poorly over the years, including your beloved Green Bean.

My 2017 does not need a battery but if I keep the car that long I would not hesitate to buy the kit. Repairing yourself with old modules dies not provide reliable transportation.
