Well, I left the '04 Prius out for a few days and some rats decided to make it their home. They chewed the driver side speed sensor wires and one of the wires for the brake accumulator. I've repaired those, but now I'm getting a P3000 (sub code 123) with a P0A80 pending. I checked the charge/discharge voltages of the modules last weekend when I fixed the brake-related wiring issues and they all seemed to charge and discharge at the same rate. I also checked the 12v battery and that seemed to be ok as well.

So. Can anyone think of where I should look next? I'm thinking I need to expose the traction battery and see what the ECU and its wiring looks like, but perhaps there are some wires under the hood that could have been munched that would cause the same issue? I'm grasping at straws here a bit, so any direction would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

Did another HV battery check today and it looks like one of the modules is in fact bad. Rats are off the hook for this charge (some pun intended). Now to figure out how to replace a module.
