Where do I tap into 12V constant and 12V switched for accessories?

    I bought a 2020 Prius Prime (Blue Magnetism - LOVE the car and the color) late last year. I want to add a hard-wired Dashcam power supply, and I would rather not use the fuse taps for a power source. I prefer connecting to an existing wire instead of using the fuse taps. I need a 12 volt constant power source and I need a 12 volt switched "accessory" power source.

    Is there a wire color chart available to tell me which color wires to tap into at the existing passenger compartment fuse block?

    Not sure what trim level you have, but I tapped in to 12v constant at the homelink auto dimming rearview mirror connector. This adapter will do it: - Dongar Technologies

    The trim level is the Limited.

    Thank you for the reply. The Dongar device is very interesting, but it appears to only provide constant 12-Volt power to a USB Port. In my case I need both constant and switched power for my Street Guardian SG9663DCPRO Dash Cam SGX2HW Hardwire Kit.

    I contacted the seller to purchase the jumper only from him and made my own for 12 volt constant instead of USB. 12 volt switched is also available on that same connector. I've attached a wiring diagram that may help.

    Do you have any idea where these wires would be on a 2022 Prius L eco? The only connector up by the mirror is for the lane assist. Or where the other connectors that the wires run through are located?
