    Great news!

Smart dealers should be happy to fix something for you under warranty. They do make very little money on warranty repairs and car sales, but then they get a customer for regular maintenance and possibly a repeat customer for the next car.

If it's Toyota Certified, I think Toyota actually pays for the repair even on used cars? Since you can theoretically get warranty work done at any Toyota dealership, they must be involved somehow...

I actually did not purchase the car from a Toyota Dealer. The problem is not under warranty because of the after-market windshield. The dealer I bought the car from paid for everything as a part of the in-store warranty.

Mine does the exact same thing, I took it to the dealer today and they said on their test drive it worked perfectly. On the highway home, it didn’t detect the lanes, what should I do?

Is the windscreen spotlessly clean? It sometimes won't pick them up - particularly on wet roads. Also faded lines aren't as easy for them to detect. It works by far the best on straight or near straight roads.

Does it pick up any lines? Or does it miss them all?

There is a button to turn the system off and on.

The windshield is clean and the camera seems visible from the outside. It’s always on and it only starts to work after i drive over this one specific road with solid lines on each side, going around 60 mph. After that it works fine until the next time i turn my car off
