Prius C will not start

    Battery replace 4 months ago. Has been run 50 miles and back 4 days ago. Lights come on without blinking, says ready but will not start

    You had more information in the other thread where you mentioned this.......like a jump gets it going for a couple of days and then dead again.

    It is possible that the new battery was not fully charged.
    The car is generally not capable of completely charging an almost dead battery.

    OR....your new battery is defective.
    OR....the changing system is not working right.
    OR.....one of the main battery cables is loose or corroded.

    Who/where did the installation of the new battery.
    Might be good to go back there.

    Reply, I drove it several miles after jumped, 50 miles. It set for 2 days. The battery is 4 months old. The cables have just been checked and no problems noted.


    No trouble lights, just normal starting indicators. No notices when check the indicators.
