2008 Prius - bad catalytic converter but multiple lights are on

I just came upon this thread because our older 2005 Prius had its catalytic converter stolen. Maybe my story will help someone in the future! Like the OP, it started fine the first time (although loud due to the theft of the cat), the second time I tried to start (to get the mileage reading for insurance) all of the brake, vsc, engine, etc. lights came on and car would not start. Insurance had it taken to Meineke to replace the converter since replacing through Toyota was $3k-3500. It would have been a total loss had it gone to Toyota but I am sorry now since we only use Toyota to do any major repairs and they would have known what to do. Obviously Meineke didn't know this "initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration" needed to be done first. They replaced the cat and within a few miles of driving the lights came back on, car won't budge, and Toyota now says our hybrid battery is bad. PLEASE PROTECT YOUR CAT from being stolen!!! This has been a nightmare for us all the way around and now I am afraid we need to find a replacement Prius
