I'm looking at a 2014 Prius One with 112,352 for $7,861 today. It looks great in pictures, but for one little thing with the top display. Is it worth buying? Is it a cheap fix? I've never had a prius before and know nothing abouw cars.

Since maintenance history is unknown, pass. If the engine oil haven’t been changed in years or if it’s been in couple of wrecks, you wouldn’t know and be taking on a bad car.

That's how the display always looks? (It's not just an artifact of taking the picture?)

If the "combination meter" has lost pixels its bad. Its pretty expensive unless its covered by a recall. You could call a service advisor at a dealer with the vin (the cars unique vehicle identification number) and she could tell you. Honestly I would pay a dealer or independent Prius shop to check it out before buying. Not the dealer that may be selling it.
