SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Yeah, questions abound but I don't see answers coming out. Her husband is devastated and everyone around here is in shock. Very unexpected. She had zero medical conditions. She was outside every day working in her amazing designer showcase yard.

It's my understanding they were still in the testing and discovery phase when she passed.

Note: It's one thing to constantly hear about all of this on the news. It's something entirely different to have it happen to someone you talk to several times a week over/through the wood fence next door.

 

Not enough. If more tragic stories like this were told publicly, there might be fewer parties and other improper gatherings.

 

You would hope, but I'm not so sure. There's a segment of the population that says I won't get sick, so I want to get it and get it over with. I've been told this to my mask covered face more than once. It takes a lot of internal strength not to respond inappropriately to something like that.

 

lots of stories in the news, but unfortunately, like smokers, they have to have it up close and personal before they become 'reformed'.

 

Interesting article, stating that when you factor in population growth over the past 7 decades, maybe this latest bad boy isn't so much after all.

Sweden seems to have let things run their course, which seems terrible up front ....



But if everybody just isolates that are going to die anyways, it would seem like the only difference is that the economy is destroyed - and kids that would otherwise be in school failed to get socialized &/or educated as well.

she doesn't mention hospital surge capacity, or potential long term health effects, nor the devastation being wreaked on farm and meat factory workers, nor inner city populations

 

... all things that Sweden's socialism is better equipped to handle than can our own health care and social safety net systems.

NZ is right in the middle of getting owned in a second wave; I am up in Auckland. In four minutes an announcement re: lockdowns will occur; Auckland (the main city) is sealed off from the rest of NZ already!!

 

i thought it was just 4 new cases?
