The car is in excellent condition, both inside and out, and has all the options, including DCFC charging. I got the price down to $19,696 and traded in the Volt at $10,500. The nice part is that there's no sales tax on new or used BEVs in NJ.

The padding is soft at the corner so when you get in/out of the Bolt, you'll press against the plastic base with your thighs. That was the first thing I noticed at the auto show and then again at the EV test drive area.

Prius Prime seats are WAY BETTER than this Bolt. Bit for the price after rebates and full EV, I'll take the negatives with it.

Not only soft padding, there is less padding on the front seats. The whole front seats have less padding, u can feel the plastic frame.
They really made the seats narrow to look like roomier inside.

It isn't just looks. Those seats give rear occupants a measurable advantage over people sitting in the rear of the Trax and Sonic.

Yes that's true. This is the reason I chose Bolt instead of Kona because of rear legroom.

Looks great and sounds like you got a great deal! Road tripping with a Bolt is so much easier than it used to be. CCS is starting to be everywhere. Congrats!

I suspect the seats won't bother me either. It isn't lack of padding that makes Toyotas uncomfortable for me, it is the position they force me into in order to reach the steering wheel and peddles without blocking vision or my head touching the ceiling. Found the Sonic more comfortable than the Camry.
