Gen 3 problem: too many plugs for my Aeepro aftermarket head unit wiring harness, so I don't have steering wheel controls. Is there a better harness brand that fits? (I'm in Australia, perhaps i need to order from USA or elsewhere)
I'm trying to connect my non-amplifies 2009 gen 3 Prius to the Pioneer DMH z5350BT, but the Aerpro harness lacks a receptical for the little plug second from the right in my picture. I have definitely bought the supposedly correct harness. I'll be calling the company come Monday, but I'm expecting they don't havr a good solution.
What would you do? Is there another brand of wiring harness that definitely has all the plugs? Thanks

Some of the Toyota specific head units include steering wheel control interfaces in the unit.
Otherwise you need to buy an interface unit, not just a cable. I think this is the part you're looking for.
APUNISW5 wiring might not be plug n play.
Crutchfield is a US company which has great resources on what fits and what works.
