    The conservatives want to ban abortion here because it would reduce the suppy of young men to be wasted in criminal wars 18 years from now.

    Let's tell the truth. To many, Iraqis are just not human. How else could we kill over a million in Bush War I and II and live with ourselves.

    Exactly right. The Iraqi people are not mothers, fathers and children trying to survive in a place where law and order has completely collapsed - they are just an abstraction, like the Vietnamese were. To reduce humans to an abstraction - as the Nazis did the Jews, as the Jews do to the Palistinians, is the essence of inhumanity and the necessary precondition for killing.

    At least it's just a bunch of dead enders that we're up against. In the White House, that is.

    But at least it's not civil war. And Rumsfeld has done some things right. Like offering to resign.

    They're doing a very poor job of dodging bombs. Anyways, they probably deserve it. What were they thinking having the same shade of skin tone as the 9/11 terrorists! Sheesh!
