Do you have any OBD2 codes (DTCs) that you can share with us ?

Where in the world is P/s ?

Not sure how far away you are from Lagos, but I'm sure that @Dxta would be happy to read the OBD2 codes (DTCs) for you

Otherwise you could consider finding an OBD2 bluetooth adapter and using an App like Dr Prius or Torque to read the codes (DTCs).

The best in class OBD2 reader would be a "mini-vci cable" (U$15) and techstream (dealer technician software) on a windows device.

Are there any warning lights on the dash? (red triangle, etc)

If you don't have the owners manuals (in the glove box?) to help decode the warning lights on the dash, use this link for online PDFs : 2007 Toyota Prius Owners Manual and Warranty - Toyota Owners

On the multi-information display, there can be a “PS” warning indicator, for electric power steering. I suppose “P/S” could also mean “power source” or “power supply.”
The car’s built-in warning lights and indicators are designed only to show that there is a problem, not what the problem is. Anyone repairing a Prius car should have access to a Toyota Techstream (Global Techstream, GTS) computer-based diagnostic system; its predecessor, the hand-held Intelligent Tester (Diagnostic Tester); or an equivalent—and the Repair Manual (more info).

As @SFO kindly suggested, the next step is to check for DTCs stored in the car’s computers (electronic control units, ECUs). This really should be done using Techstream or an equivalent: generic OBD II scan tools made for engine and emissions diagnosis are typically designed to communicate only with an engine control module, not with the car’s other computers, such as the ECUs for the hybrid system and HV battery.
PriusChat welcomes members from all over the world. @Niceboy hasn’t asked us for anything other than repair advice, so let’s give him the benefit of the doubt that he has no more connection with the criminal element of Nigeria than we have with that of the United States.

    Great news!

Can you please tell us exactly what the problem was, and how or what solved it?
