    Jeez....sorry about your car. Hope you weren't seriously injured.

    I spent a few weeks in Kemah actually. We were working on a project in LaPorte. Landry's is an excellent restaurant.

    Unfortunate name the URL has that is hosting your pics.... Good times they are not.

    I worry that one day it will be me posting pics of my busted up Prius.... :(

    Glad no one was hurt, saying the car died is not fair, it was killed.

    At least it appears the car did what it was supposed to do - sacrificed itself to save the occupants. It's always great to see a Prius take a bullet for its owner, even while we mourn the loss of such a great car. glad you're OK.

    aww :(

    keep in mind though-
    car= replaceable
    life= not replaceable

    id sooner lose the first one over the alternative.

    ouch

    My Prius is a Barcelona red one as well. I couldn't stand to look at those pictures. I hope you are ok, both physically as well as emotionally. Those experiences can take the wind out of you both ways too.

    Ditto what everyone else said. Sorry your car is gone, but glad that you're ok.

    I hit a Kia Sedona van. I tboned it when it ran a read light. A Coach USA bus hit the back of me.

    Thanks everyone. The Pruis did exactly what it was supposed to. However, my fiance who was in the pasengers seat is really hurting. It also didn't help that he had a bad reaction to the meds they gave him in the ER.

    When I get my Prius back or get a new one I will feel much safer in it than any car.

    Bummer! Hopefully they will write it off so you can get a new one. After I got into a real cruncher with my Z and had it fixed - also a guy who ran a red light - everyone told me it would never be the same, and it wasn't. Your fiance's health is way more important though - I hope he's feeling better soon!!!
