My only 2¢ is that this means that the car is IG-ON by pressing the power button twice with your foot off the brake. Other than that, stick with ChapmanF.

Yup yup. Triple checked that to make sure I was doing it right. Techstream only connects for me in IG-ON mode.

Update: Checked the fuses and they all looked fine. I assumed the relays worked because I tested them twice once with my multimeter and once with the techstream software. You can turn them off and on and hear them click. I think this doesn't mean they're 100% working but I decided to run with the idea that it was the actuator assembly that I ordered that was bad. So, I took it out and threw my old one in, ran the tests and it worked. It was the part that was bad. Contacted the ebay seller and he shipped another one today.

Thanks for everyone's help. I will go to my original post and will edit it with everything I learned so maybe someone stuck in this same situation doesn't almost die of stress like I did.

Might make a youtube video of my removal/installation process and running the techstream software.

Even a step by step of the removal/installation, with some decent pictures would be welcome as well.

Just copy and paste (control-C then control-V) the images inline within your post(s).

I got a pixel phone... known for their picture quality. Will do.

Though they've been online in 2022, it appears we've lost the thread, or the follow up idea.
