    Aloha!

Playing around with the Dr. Prius app, Gen 3 Prius, one of the ‘features’ is adjusting battery fan speed.

The adjustment is set at 85 degrees F, and there is a slider to raise and lower this figure,

-should the temp on app be raised or lowered to provide more battery cooling?

My temperature is between 70F and 87F almost every day of the year, what is optimum setting?

    Mahalo!

    Hello Paul,
I live 60 miles south of the start of the sub tropic zone in south west Florida. I had the same thought as you of the fan. I changed it to 80f and I am using torque pro to watch for any problem. Nothing yet and nothing on the chat about it. I think it is cheap insurance for people who in warm climates. Replacement would take me 30 minutes and under $200 in parts. I think heat is the biggest problem
