Any contact for the Prius shop on here?

    I purchased a rear bumper protector at the beginning of the year and it's starting to peel which causes the hatch door to not open properly. I'd really not like to purchase another one since the protector is still basically new but no one has responded to my requests using the "contact us" form on the shop.

    Anyone know where I can find the adhesive strips used to stick the protector to the bumper?

    Or if anyone from the shop is on these boards - is there a way I can just buy the adhesive strips?

    since it's a kit, they probably won't have anything. is it double sided tape? have you loked around on amazon?
    maybe you can just glue it back down

    Appreciate the response!

    I've tried double-sided tape and glue but there seems to be too much torque pulling at it (it's only coming up from one corner) that those two things can't keep it down. I think I have to redo the adhesive for the whole protector.

    Go to an auto parts store and look for 3M double sided mounting tape.
    If that won't hold it, likely nothing will.
    I suppose you are adverse to putting a couple of sheet metal screws in it to "help" the tape ?
