We're in the middle of putting Wet Okole seat covers on the front seats of our 06 Prius (Barcelona Red, seat covers are red/black with 1/2 piping in red :)).

I've read over and over again that they have a very snug fit. DH has gotten the one on the driver's side, and while the sides do indeed fit very snugly, it's like there's air underneath the seat and to a lesser extent underneath the back . . .

Should it feel puffy like this, or are we doing something wrong?

    They sure are cool!

AND the seat covers don't line up like I thought they would - I thought the black on the outside would be like a straight line from the top of the back to the edge of the seat, but instead the cover on the seat seems shifted about an inch to the right of where the black part starts on the back. If that makes sense . . .

On mine, it did feel early on like there was some 'air' under the cover, but that was because it was a tight fit so where the seat bowed down the cover was tight. With some time that fixes itself as you sit in the seat and the covers stretch out. Also, I did notice initially a little lack of alignment between the black from the seat to the backrest but I just kind of rotated the bottom part so that they line up perfectly now. You really can't rotate the backrest portion if you have seat airbags because you have to leave that hole in the right place.

By the way, for the back seat (if you got those), if you just pull firmly in the center/front of the bottom portion of the seat you can pull the entire seat bottom out easily...makes it much easier.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks, Walla - DH insists that the seats won't line up right, I insist that they should. I don't guess it's the end of the world either way - they are both on now and look great! I love the little extra padding, too - I think it makes the seats way more comfortable!

    Money well spent. :)

Please post pictures when finished installing. I have a Barcelona Red and i'm thinking about getting the black/red coveres too. I would like to see how well they go with the red car.

I would like to see how well they go with the interior also. Really wish I could edit my post instead of posting again.

I think they look great - DH will post pics tomorrow.

The red isn't an exact match, but it's close enough to be good. Now that I've seen these covers on, I can't imagine any other color except maybe a tan with the red, and I figured to start with that tan would show dirt more. Of course, now that I've seen these on, I'm sorry I didn't get ones for the back seat, too.
    :)

I was just figuring we don't use the back seat all that much. Am now having a real "D'oh" moment.

I will say that I paid extra for pieces for the seat belts to match the piping - waste of money - I can tell we'll never use them. Too bulky
for us, and awkward, unless I'm missing something.
