Nothing to ad, just a big THANK YOU to F8L and all other contributors in this topic!

I successfully did my own stealth install and am very happy with the result. The sound is so much better and I now have a car-kit (part of the stereo) as well. Thank you as I would not have managed on my own!!

I got the harness for free from my previous employer, but was missing the resistor.

Quick trip to radio shack and couldn’t find a 68ohm resistor but I did get a pack of 22ohm

Could 66ohm load work possibly or does anyone know for sure?

66 ohm should work no problem. Resistors are usually rated + or - 5%, so 3, 22 ohm resistors should basically be the same thing. Certainly no risk in trying!

Thanks, that’s what I thought also but figured I’d ask. Gonna give it a shot in a couple hours.

I just had a PAC RadioPRO 4 installed into my 2012 gen 3 with jbl for a new head unit(ilx207) They ran into a problem because when they plugged into the amplified port the front right speaker didn’t work. PAC told them to use the non amplified port and turn up the amp pot on the unit. This worked but it has some pretty loud hiss out of all the speakers now at low volumes. They said they usually don’t use the radio pro and always opt for the 2 separate harnesses(Metra one of them) for the steering and jbl. I’m thinking about taking it back and having them install those instead. Anyone have any input on this?

I know this is an old thread but I do have a question. How necessary is it to have the BHO & BHA 1761 harnesses? What's the difference between that and just splicing in with T taps?
