I'm at 136k miles on my 2015 with no warranty repairs, and no breakdowns after warranty.

I replaced the front and rear brake pads, replaced the radiator & inverter coolant, and tranny fluid, replaced the 12v battery, and a few light bulbs. All DIY. It's been a great car. No complaints. Also, no noticeable fall-off in performance or traction battery capacity.

10 years after the Gen 3 intro we should have a decent number of high milers out there with 200k -300k

We have 3 Gen 3's with around 250k miles and hardly any problems. We have changed brakes, tires, oils, and coolant.

We have been very pleased with the reliability. The main thing is to use the car regularly and the hybrid battery will last for a long time.

2015 with 62k. Salvage title, bought 3 years ago with 24k miles. I have kept oil changed and replaced the 12v battery. Will be getting tires soon and will also change cvt fluid at next oil change. Brakes still looking good. No issues at all.

I'll let someone else be first, to mention those three letters.

Bought in 2017 at 209k, replaced engine 93 days later. Now at/near 238k. 7 oil changes and front brakes just because I only paid 9 dollars for Wagner Thermoquiet pads and all hardware and shims. A couple of coolant changes due to thermostat issues due to the stop leak I added to stop the leaking head gasket that caused the engine to “violently cease to exist intact as intended by Toyota”. Otherwise no issues to report.

2012 (Lexus ct) currently with 260k miles.

Engine replaced at 203k (didn’t know about those three letters, now have a set to swap out and clean regularly)

Usual brakes and tires as needed.
    Front wheel bearing at 150k.

Oil change/tire rotation interval at every 5k more so because of the commute using the ICE more than inverter. Do the work myself, get oil and filters in bulk like Mendel suggested, so small expense each year.

103k on a 2011 right now. Oil changes, coolant, transmission, spark plugs and EGR clean done. Brakes were replaced before I bought it at 42k and are around half worn. I did have to regrease the pins when a rear seized on me around 90k.

118k Miles and one of the most reliable cars others than my Lexus that I have owned. I have learned that Toyota is the only manufacturer to consider when buying a vehicle, nothing compares.

I have followed all maintenance by the book and included some additional items like EGR cleaning and Catch Can install, as well as Transmission drain and fill every 60k miles.

I'm at 110k miles. I have a few brake issues with my rear brakes. Replaced pads and rotors a few times. Finally, I replaced one of the rear calipers and have had no issues since.

My car did shake a few times during startup after short trips or on cold days. The issue has since gone away after a few very long drives. Yes. The startup knock issue is probably the biggest thread for the Prius. The top of my windshield has started to show signs of rust (which was also reported with by another thread for white Priuses).

Regular oil changes. Replaced 12V battery once so far. Too little driving due to covid19. Haven't changed coolant or spark plugs yet but will probably do it next spring. Haven't replaced transmission fluid.

My gen 3 Prius is somewhere in the 180k miles neighborhood; I have done the same. Brakes, tires, oil, coolant. Also needs wiper blades, engine air filter, cabin air filter changed from time to time.

82k miles. Oil changes and replacing rear pads (which may or may not have been needed). New tires. Worry free car. Have not changed transaxle fluid yet.

Headgasket set as maintenance at 166k.(long weekend, nothing to do)
Replaced EGR cooler(clogged) but could not tell because it ran fine.
Also added an OCC. Works great.
    Added rear anti-sway bar.

This weekend adding a strut brace.
Might lower it with H&R springs.
Not sure if I want to go to 17" inch wheels or not. I took one off my wifes Lexus ct200h and tried in on for looks....yes it looks good on the Prius...lol

After soaking my old one in acetone for weeks, my water hose finally broke through to where i can see daylight.
Just going to keep switching them out every 50k.

Try concentrated/hot oxi-clean solution soaks (cork one end and fill): water soluble, much less toxic, detrimental to environment.

Soak for about an hour, try to break up with a wire, rinse out and repeat.

306k miles.2010 Prius. No repairs just maintenance.

Original HV battery. Cleaned egr then ran til it started backfiring from being plugged again so unplugged it. Also installed oil catch can and am very careful not to shut off car while ICM is running. I've had the rattle of death a few times and it makes me want to break down in tears every time. (I believe it was caused by turning off car while engine running)

Bought 2010 Prius in March 2019 with 115K miles from original owner. Had oil/filter changes every 4-5K miles with Mobil One 0W-20 since new. Traction battery replaced under warranty in 2015, along with windshield. Had brake accumulator recall and some software updates as well. Brakes were about 20% pads remaining. Right away I changed radiator fluid, inverter fluid, spark plugs (originals looked pretty good still!). Drove 40K miles first year (mostly Uber), when pandemic hit had time to do some work. Brake pads/rotors, struts and sway bar links, bought new EGR valve, cooler, pipe and intake manifold (cooler was partially clogged.). Cleaned MAF sensor. Installed oil catch can in stealth location under air box, get a couple tablespoons of oil every couple months. One coil failed so I replaced all 4. Replaced water pump so I didn't have to worry about it. Just put a set of Michelins on it, probably the third set since new.

Car doesn't use any oil (I'm still following the 5K oil/filter schedule) or coolant, knock wood! I'm pretty much working from home during the crisis, take it out for a good drive 2-3 times a week to keep battery happy.

I think our climate is good for the car-70F-90F all year. MPG is mid 40's when I have a lot of hills and just got 56 mpg at 35-40 MPH on my way to the north shore. My car is a senior citizen of Gen 3, VIN is 0001273!

    Cheers!

Use oven cleaner with egr cooler, the type you put in a bag and leave for a few hours, don't put egr valve in there as that is ally and probably won't react well with cleaner. Oven cleaner will eat through carbon in about 40 minutes then jet Wash out and jobs done......ive done 4 of these so far and all look immaculate afterwards.
