Okay, I picked up my Prius on Wednesday and everything is great except for this annoying dash warp thing seen below.

I just need to know three things:
    1. Where in Orlando, FL can I get this fixed (not Central Florida Toyota, their service dept sucks).
    2. How much will it cost me.
    3. Is there a way to fix it myself.
I saw a thread a while back about this issue, but most of the pics/info were lost in the recent downtime.
(BTW, I just cleaned the cabin air filter so I know how to get behind the glovebox, lots of leaves and other misc debris in there.)

It looks like this thread has info that could be useful:

If you need pictures and they don't show, maybe you could PM someone who had the problem. It should be covered under warranty. I believe you would find a small broken spring (springs?) if you take off the top glove box cover.

Mine was fixed under warrenty right at the 36,000 mile mark. They had to order the springs so it took two trips but no charge.

I looked at the other threads again last night and followed the instructions as best I could without pictures. I went to Home Depot and picked up some plastic and quick cure epoxy and fixed the spring clips. I let the epoxy dry and put the box back in the car. Everything works now and I hope the Florida sun will put the dash back in its place before I buy a sunshade.
Thanks everyone, I just saved $400 bucks to spend on OEM carpet mats and a sunshade.

Can you buy a new 06 dash for an 05 and how much would that cost?
