I am able to buy this head unit today and i eas wondering if anyone had any experience with it. I have a 2010 prius w JBL, camera, navigation. Is there an adapter that needs to be purchased when running aftermarket head units.

No experience with this head unit.

Usually to install they are fairly plug and play. Typically you need the dash kit, a harness for the headunit, and a harness for steering wheel controls. I'm not sure if your Prius has an oem microphone and if those are able to be used with an aftermarket headunit.

Check out crutch field online. They have a page somewhere where you input your car info, and it gives you everything needed.

According to the 1st feedback on the website, "Not worth it" was the main headline. Not sure if you missed it in bold.

Make sure you read all the feedback and not just the bold title.

The guy actually says its not bad but he feels bitter in a way for paying more for it, the extended shipping can be due to covid19 and he was unaware of the kind of harness he needs, after that the radio is plug n play.
