I have a 2011 Toyota Prius T-Spirit and just realised the temp up and down buttons don't work. When I press the button on the steering wheel it shows on the display that I am pressing it but the actual temperature doesn't go up / down. It works fine if I do it from the button on the main display by just doesn't seem to work on the steering wheel even though it shows on the display the button is being pressed. Any ideas?

Do you have issue with any other button on the steering wheel?
What you see on the display is from a proximity sensor/ECU, so doesn’t mean it recognised that you pressed that button.
I think it may be the spiral cable.

No its just with the temp up and down button. All other buttons are fine.
