Assuming you're using a code reader that's specific to Toyota hybrid systems this points to a problem with your gear shifter. Has it been accidentally bumped into or kicked? You may have to take apart the dash to inspect the plug, or you could try swapping it out with a spare one from a wrecking yard. If they allow you to pull your own parts it's an opportunity to practice taking apart the dash so you're less likely to damage your own.

This is one of many situations in which the one-line description (“fortune cookie,” to use @ChapmanF's apt term) shown in the Techstream software and in the Repair Manual can be misleading.

Toyota had to follow the SAE J2012 standard when assigning DTCs, and for many conditions, they chose the closest standardized DTC, even if the description in the standard (for DTC P085D, “Gear Shift Control Module ‘A’ Performance”) didn’t follow Toyota’s terminology.

As the Repair Manual (more info) procedure for DTC P085D explains, this problem doesn’t have much to do with the shift lever used by the driver. Instead, it relates to communication between the power management control ECU and the transmission control ECU assembly, which manages the parking lock mechanism in the transaxle.
The Repair Manual procedure describes how to check the wiring between terminals A22-22 and A24-22 (PCON, light green wire), and between terminals A22-28 and A24-23 (PPOS, white wire). Both of these connectors are in the instrument panel, behind the glove compartment. If the wiring is OK, the procedure also explains how to check the PCON and PPOS signals using an oscilloscope, to decide which ECU to replace.

So, yesterday I was replaced 12v Battery. After changed, all electrnics look brighter lamp, easier steering wheel, better performance engine and no any error code happen.

Let me monitor 2 - 3 weeks. will be inform the result again.

Then, I stop the car and I shutoff the power switch, replace the P switch. After that, I turn power on and re-push P switch again. P switch can turn on and multifunction display was dis-appear.

I check by Techstream V13.0. He shows on C2300. Do you have any advise for C2300, please?

After change new P switch + clear DTC code C2300. Drive 1 week, Today I re-check DTC again. No any error appear by techstream.
    - My repair
    1. Replace new Battery 12v
    2. Change P switch

My comment is battery 12v when low voltage and low CCA, anything can happen due to not enought battery power. Do you have any idea for P switch was defect?

If anyone has more comment, please add.
