Silly question: Does cap on brake reservoir need to be replaced after each fill during bleeding?

No. Not replaced, but re-placed. (Put it back on!)

I just left the cap off for the duration of the procedure.

Same, but if it was raining or dusty out or something, I would close it.

I use a Branick pressure bleeder with vehicles in the household. It's sealed off with the pressure adapter until I remove it doing it that that way. Haven't looked at Prius instructions yet I confess. I should. @Mendel Leisk are you confident you have a LHD manual? (Shrugs)...

Left Hand Drive? Yeah. I didn't use any suction, apart from a syringe to baste out reservoir. I did use a proper bleed bolt coupler, and ran tube to a mayo jar with hole in lid. Not high tech lol. The main take aways from manual are invalid mode and bleed order. Invalid mode is also shown (more clearly) in @NutzAboutBolts video. Also very clearly shows pedal push techniques.

The reason I ask is Left Hand Drive vs Right Hand Drive the steering wheel AND brake system is on different sides. Normal brake bleed convention is furthest away to shortest. This would affect where you start:

LHD-. Normal start is Right Rear
RHD-. Would assume start with Left Rear.

LHD-. RR, LR, FR, and finally FL
RHD-. LR, RR, FL, and finally FR

But I've seen other orders our '10 Cadillac CTS is-

RR, FL, RL, and finally FR, (some sort of cross pattern).

Haven't gotten close to changing brake fluid in ours, but brake pad wear is significant. I don't follow pulse and glide, not sure about my dad, but I suspect he's the same as me. Must be functioning outside the range of pedal pressure for regenerative braking because maybe 2 mm left on the front right pad, with less than 35k miles.

    moto g(7) power ?

You're doing the non-Techstream method? The order in my earlier Repair Manual excerpt is:

    F/R, F/L, R/L, R/R

Also in the excerpt, you can see the fluid reservoir is on rear left* corner of engine bay (just in front of North American steering wheel).

    * By "left" I mean per the standard automotive left/right designations, like you're sitting in the driver's seat left.

The total brake system capacity appears to be 1.32qt from another link I found, but I would like to be a bit more precise during bleeding. does anyone know what amounts of fluid to flush through each brake line? I find using color observation is not always an easy way to differentiate when the new fluid has reach the end of the line.
