Nope, no silver and gold there. The only light colors available in Norway are the two whites:

    Solid colors:
    • Pure White (040)
    Metallic colors:
    • Dark Gray (1G3)
    • Spirited Aqua (791)
    • Flame Red (3U5)
    • Attitude Black (218)
    Pearl colors:
    • Pearl White (070)
Note that Wind Chill Pearl (089) available for the 2021 Prius Prime is a different white. Blizzard Pearl (070) (Pearl White (070) in Norway)) is available for the 2020 Prius Prime. It looks like they are still selling the 2020 Prius Prime in Norway. The year code in the VIN is L and M for 2020 and 2021, respectively.

    Hi guys,
I am in South California. I just went to a Toyota dealer today for a Prius Prime 2021, LE, White. They said the best offer they have for me is 28k out of door (pay off full in cash). I read this thread, I see people can get it (2020 model) for about 24k-25k. I wonder which dealer in South California can have offer in that 24k-25k range?
    Thank you.

I must say Toyota is smart to not market "Blizzard" whit and "Wind Chill" Pearl in Norway ;)

You need to shop around and negotiate. No dealer is going to give you a good deal when you walk in. Always contact them on the Internet first. Don't miss the sales ending on November 30. Aim for a $3,000 dealer discount in addition to the current $2,250 factory rebate. Always ask for a quote for the OTD price when you email them.

I find the model numbers confusing. I bought a 2020 model, and didn't see CarPlay mentioned in the printed Norwegian manual, but it is in the menus. Right there with Android Auto, which I thought wouldn't arrive until the 2021 model year. I also believe there used to be more available colors. At least the Prius (both with and without plug) is available here, I don't even see it listed for Sweden. Must be the electricity and carbon incentives.

    Good for Norway!

Since they are selling the 2020 models, silver and gold may have sold out. There are no 2020 models left around here.

It's interesting that they used the smaller multimedia head unit there with the luxury trim. Yes, this head unit comes with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Unfortunately the larger head unit we get here is outdated and won't be updated, and it misses Android Auto, Wi-Fi Connect, and probably other things. It's also interesting that you get navigation with the smaller unit, whereas it's not available for this unit here.

    Hi everyone,
I just bought my first Prius Prime. I really love it. I have some questions and wonder if anyone can help and if this section is a good place for newbie questions?

-whenever driving at some speed (around 35-45 mph) I hear the sound similar to the one I heard on my old Camry when I open only 1 rear window. Is it normal for Prius?

-how can I maximize my rebate? I did some research and know that I can apply from here: cleanvehiclerebate and also when I file the tax return next year. Is there any other source of rebate available for Prius in California, USA?

    Much appreciate!

    Congratulations!

See my posts on the previous page in this thread regarding the additional rebates.

I hope you bought it after December 1. The Toyota factory rebates on 2021 Prius Prime in Southern California have increased from $1,750 to $3,000 in December.

For the 2021 models, does anybody know what this extra $1000 bonus cash is for? This is in addition to the $3000 cash. I'm looking at the incentives for the Maryland region.

The bonus cash is on top of the factory cash rebate. However, neither can be combined with the APR offers.

Upgrade to Limited this time. XLE is not any improvement over LE; yet, it costs a lot more. Limited is an entirely different, a lot more substantial car.

I got the $750 Uber discount just by providing a printout of my Uber profile page showing the "Active" status. This surprisingly is a discount off the selling price of the car so also reduces sales tax (at least in Connecticut). You will need to ask about this directly; my salesperson didn't even know it existed but the "manager" knew about it.

I went from a 2020 XLE to a 2021 LE primarily because I wanted Android Auto which is not on the XLE or Limited. The main thing I'll miss about the XLE is the 3-door keyless unlock/lock which is incredibly useful especially if you have children or run errands at all with the car. The Softex seats might be a bit more comfortable, but I don't like the feel of them (they are way too slippery and things have fallen off of them in the front and back seats if I have to stop short). I also hate the 11.6" screen interface - it's just horrible with basically no physical buttons. It's honestly a safety hazard to try to manipulate while driving even to just change the A/C settings.

While I agree the Limited has amazing features (assuming you don't want/need Android Auto and are OK with the 11.6" screen), it's still $5,800 more than the LE and $4,000 more than the XLE. From what I understand, higher end trim levels tend to lose their value more quickly, so if you plan to keep the car for a long time then Limited might be worth it.

Right, between the LE and XLE, the LE is the trim to buy. It costs a lot less and you hardly lose any features in comparison to the XLE, and you get Android Auto if you actually use it, even though Toyota doesn't offer wireless connection and plugging in the phone is inconvenient. It may be easier to use a phone holder instead of hooking it up to the car and the screen would be in a less distracting, more convenient position.

If saving money is not a big deal, the multitude of additional features in the Limited makes it a much better car than both the LE and XLE and puts it in the luxury class.

In any case I think most people should skip the XLE and go with either the LE or Limited.

Yea the dealers in my area had it but the one dealer I went to refused to look it up as I was getting and stacking a lot of rebated/grants lol. Normally I push, but as this wasn't for me but someone else we called it and picked it up.

In this thread, in the last month or so, I have seen people pay 26.5 or 27K (after Toyota cash back and dealer discount, but before taxes and fees) for 2020 Limited. What is a reasonable price for a 2021 Limited, given the increased Toyota cash back this month?

You are asking the wrong questions. It all depends on the regional Toyota factory rebates available. Aim for a $3,000–4,000 dealer discount in addition to the Toyota factory rebates. The factory rebates on the 2020 vs. 2021 are entirely different.

There are zero factory rebates available in Virginia at the moment. However, in Maryland they are $4,000. If you go there, get an additional $3,000–4,000 dealer discount, and get a good value for your trade-in, which is $24,000+, it would be a great deal.

Always negotiate through the Internet first and ask for the actual OTD quote, not an informal quote, during the negotiations.

    Good luck!

I'm moving to the SF Bay Area and this is my first time purchasing a car. Have done my research but not sure if I'm missing out anything, so apologies in advance for any silly questions!

When you say $3000-$4000 dealer discount, that's not including any of Toyota's incentives like $2350 + $1000 bonus cash for a 2021 Prius Prime, right? Does that mean I can expect to pay up to $7250 ($4000 + $2350 + $1000) off MSRP off a 2021 Prime? I'm looking at the LE, so about $22k excluding taxes?
