    Oh boy!
Had a crazy early start to the day today...left home at about 5am and when I went to get in the car to start it, expecting the shudders and stumbles.....and nothing. And it was 27 degrees outside as per the MFD. I don't want to jinx it, but it seems the coil packs were the issue, as when I pulled the plugs yesterday they looked pretty normal (to me anyway).

So, in all this i was reluctant to change the coils because they have been on the car since April of 2020, but they were very very cheap coils and it again proves something that I know better than to do: don't get cheapo parts and go OEM. My reasoning was that the car has so mileage that I was reluctant to invest in it, which made for more expense...as the saying goes 'penny wise, dollar foolish.

At the end of the day, over the last month I'm still glad I went through the car:
-the intake was so caked up with crap and now it's clean.
-new VVT solenoid can't hurt and I will be checking that VVT filter for oil flow.
-cleaned injectors have made the car idle smoother and at 250k cleaning them could not have hurt
All of the above are items that clearly should have been done anyway so in the end its all good.

Fingers crossed for no stumbles....I'm really hoping they stay away.

And I guess for now we will see how much life is left in the engine...another oil change is due to happen soon and I may do it sooner than later so I don't have to do it when its 20 degrees out.

    Any updates on the stumbles?
