    Hello All

I have been using Mobile one 0-20 since I got the 2010
Is it okay to use 5-20?
and while I am at it they have different brands of filters at the parts store
wix parts master ac delco mobile one
which one is best? or would it be better to use the Toyota dealer filter?

    Thanks

Given the choice between 5W-20 and 0W-20 I would choose 0W-20.

I use Fram Ultra on our v and Scion iQ.

    moto g(7) power ?

I used up to 0w-40 in our old 2010 and it worked well:).

5w-20 will be fine in our neck of the woods(y).

wonder why Toyota recommends 0-20 and why you say 5-20 is okay for us in out area?

So about the filters is the Toyota filter better than Wix ?

Other parts of the world have more than 0w-20 recommended;).

Search around here a bit and you'll find a chart with arrows with temps and viscosities on it that shows most parts of the world have different recommendations :).

As for filters, I just buy the Toyota ones on Amazon, but the wiz filter should be fine as long as you are changing the oil regularly(y).

Don't obsess over filters......and other "which is best" for that matter......because there likely isn't any significant difference.
They might all be made in the same factory.
Just avoid anything that is super cheap or an unknown brand name.

I have read that the cheapest Fram filters (despite the company's name recognition) are pretty crappy. I've used their XG10358 a couple of times now; these have been highly recommended.

OK then. Don't obsess over which of the OTHER ones is the best. :)

Gen 2 was 5W30, fwiw. I suspect going to a synth 5W20, the only downside would be slight mpg drop. The heavier oil would be protect better? Slightly?

Toyota owner/maintenance manual says 0-20, and on the filler cap.
It also say you can use 5-20, but to change the oil sooner, and use 0-20.
    Toyota's filter are very inexpensive.
You can't really go wrong with Toyota parts.

65 MPG in the last 8,000 miles on 5w-20. Will take the slight drop any day.

I just wrote what Toyota says to use.
This is America, you can run 80w90 if you want, and get 85mpg.
