Interesting that there are battery vents on the left side of the car, but makes it really easy to vent if you ever installed a second battery

That is some really nice work considering what you were dealing with. All the little plastic clips and Hardware was a real concern and is the reason why I just went with The Body Shop option. Suposedly my car will be done tomorrow. Thank you for your detailed write-up and pictures

I got my car back from the body shop and they did excellent work. I'm glad I went with that option.

    However:

I'm not sure this body shop is very familiar with hybrid cars. When I dropped off the car it displayed 44 mpg at 25 miles on the trip meter. When I got it back it was displaying 25 mpg at 28 miles on the trip meter.

Did someone in that shop accidentally leave the car in Ready mode all day? Or did somebody siphon some fuel out of the tank
Normally I get between 200 and 220 miles at the half full tank. After getting my car back from this body shop, the Prius is showing 95 miles at the half-tank.

How long would the Prius have to be in Ready mode to drop the fuel economy almost in half?

George always has a complaint whenever he takes his car in... I always think he's gonna DIY his car problems away and then when he says he's gonna get someone else to do it instead I'm like, here come more complaints from him.

What's that saying about what you need to do if you want to get it done right?

Hey there Prius camper. I don't understand this response. I took it to a professional and that guy did a great job. I didn't complain about the work. Just curious how the car lost so much fuel economy while it was in his possession. How is that a complaint?
