Timing cover oil seeping

    Well, I have over 180k on the gen 3. And I’ve noticed a little seeping oil at the timing cover getting to be a more than it was. I understand that this is kind of typical for the gen 3. I’m just wondering if a light tightening would slow or repair the leak. Or maybe just let it go for now.

    You mean the timing chain cover I assume, the big panel at "front" of engine, aka passenger end of engine, with the (empty) accessory pulley?

    Actually after reading so additional post regarding the issue, I think I got my answer. Thanks anyway
