    Hello,

Thinking of getting a new Prius. Went for a test drive, driving was fine, but as a passenger, which is what I'd be most times, I felt very cramped. Have any of you have experience with a seat track extension ?

    Thanks!

Passenger in right front seat? Wouldn't sliding all way back and reclining the seatback extra be enough? How tall r u? If that's not enough, maybe buy something else, but there was a site named

Home with adapter that bolts in chassis, then bolt seat into it ....

but IMO, what's also needed in 3rd gen is 'adjust my seat cushion and extend my steering wheel dot com'.. Seat slides plenty enough. 2nd gen, another story.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the seat track overall and from mounting hole to mounting hole. Side to side and front to back?

I agree that the legroom in the Prius could be more. Over the decades I have moved the driver's seats back two or more inches in various vehicles. There is no way that I could drive the Prius across the country without moving the seat back. I am 6'-4" and between the length of my legs and the size of my feet I become very uncomfortable in the Prius after an hour or so.
