    I totally think this is a video that ALL people who drive a vehicle past the warranty should watch this and abide by what is said. Oil is CHEAP compared to what can happen when an engine is not taken care of. I had not seen this so thanks for posting!

    Been saying that for years.
    If you drive a car that’s out of warranty, and you cannot be bothered to check your oil.... changing it every 5k seems prudent.

    I like what he says at 18:30: instead of guessing as to whether or not your're in the shorter oil change category, just assume you are, change it at the shorter interval (miles or months).

    He is one of my new favorite channels on youtube. He justified my thought on not letting my car go a year for an oil change and do it every 6 months.
