I have the standard 16inch rims so I was wondering does anyone sell gloss black stock hubcaps? I looked all over ebay, and amazon nothing found just the regular silver hubcaps.
Another question I have is do universal 16inch hubcaps work on these cars or just the stock hubcap?

There are no stock black wheel covers for the v's 16". But the standard covers are painted plastic, so carefully remove the chrome logo and repaint.

You could buy a one or a set of wheel covers at a discount store and see if they fit. Return them if they don't. IIRC, I paid about $35 at Walmart for the 16 inch wheel covers I use on the 16 inch steel winter wheels on our 2012 Prius v. I don't remember if they were sold individually or as a set of 4 - only that I paid about $35 total for four of them. They are higher quality and cost less than the 16 inch wheel covers I bought at Tire Rack. Here's a photo..

Will aftermarket wheel covers fit on the stock 16inch rim? I see you put them on steel wheels?

As I said in my previous post, you could buy an aftermarket wheel cover and return it if it doesn't fit your OEM wheels.

I suppose you could spray paint aftermarket wheel covers any color you want.

I had to slightly modify the plastic wheel covers I bought at Walmart to make it easier to inflate the tires with my air compressor due to the design of its hose nozzle. It took a couple minutes per wheel cover using a half round file to enlarge the opening for the tire valve stem.
