<_< This subject has shown up on the forum before.... Our Prius, mind you we love it, came from the dealer with only a paper envelope to hold all the stuff. Not even a vinyl cover... a little dissapointing.

We had a Volkswagen Passat years ago. It came with a very nice black, real leather, zippered pouch. I kept that pouch and used it for our new Prius. Fits nicely into the rear section of the lower glove compartment.

Lots of people have gotten paper pouches, clear vinyl pouches, dealer advertisement pouches with their Prius. Perhaps Toyota doesn't think these little things are a concern... but it's a "thank you" item that helps to seal the deal.

P.S. Even my 98 VW Golf (base model) came with a very nice black heavy nylon book style pouch. ;)

I love my leather cover. I keep all my service records in it and have even started using it to hold my registration and insurance stuff too. I have a little notebook in it too, just in case. My car has it's own little organizer like I use for business. I just have to make sure not to get them mixed up cause my manuals don't help me in a staff meeting.

My dealer gave it to me and said it was extra but he was throwing it in since I drove 400 miles to pick up my car.
