Crap. that means I got shafted with my $26,250 OTD for my LXE. I should had waited. I fell for that "we're not making any money on this deal..." and the costco car buying pricing threw me way off.

That is a killer price. Ask them if waiting for the $5500 rebate ($1000 less) will sweeten the deal? Not sure if they will be honest though.

They hit me with the "we really don't know if the rebate will stay the same or go up or even down"

Response when talking about the end of the month

Where is it stated that the rebate goes up?

I doubt it. They're not supposed to release rebate info early.

No you didn't get shafted. You got a great deal. The LXE is $1800 more than the LE. Also, did you get any other options like carpet matts or special color or bumper protector that added to the price? Looks like the deal you got was right there with the best of them. Enjoy.

I bet the dealers hate this section of the forum. Takes their edge off knowing what a really good deal is.

I'll tell you what man some of these dealers are really rude. I just talked to a dealer at Jerry's toyota in MD

And he basically started to lecture me about the toyota rebate and how I was insane for asking about a prime XLE at 24500

Due to it being 6k under invoice

I also had Don at Descar Silver springs basically lie to me about the 500 in toyota cash going away on Wednesday.

Descar in silver springs is the only dealer I've found able to get to 24-25 k out the door

If anyone knows of a dealership in MD that can get that price please let me know

I didn't read of anyone getting the XLE for 24-25k OTD, only the LE. If a dealer is willing to do 25k OTD for an XLE, that is a great deal. Also, CA has a $900 discount at point of sale for the Prius Prime. Not sure what the other states have.

Loving my Prime LE. There's no way a car under $20k should be this solid feeling, decent looking, and cheap to operate.

Does anyone know if the Uber discount continues for April? Trying to decide whether to buy today or wait. I wish I knew what the MD discount will be on the Prime for April.

keep us posted if you get your car at 24500 OTD. Does your pricing include any Uber, college, military, or financing incentives? Which dealership are you working with?

    No, it doesn't

This is in MD And the car is going to be registered in PA

Only thing I believe PA does is a 1,000 rebate

Also it's DASCAR toyota of Silver Springs

Picked up my 3rd LE in Maryland today, dealers down here are still a PITA compared to New England or NY dealers but the prices were good enough to tolerate their games.

    MSRP 29,300
    -5750 rebates including uber
    -3780 dealer discount
    +500 doc fee, tags etc

I didn't have to do much convincing- a Koons Eprice I had gotten already had a ~3500 discount before doc fee and I said I wanted 4k, then after 4 rounds of "checking with the manager" we met halfway. Most dealers seemed to be eager, and the dealer discount was much better than the 1400 off I got for My 2020 LE last year.

Also a FYI for anyone in DC - They changed the law last month and due to the new varying excise tax depending on weight and MPG, PHEVs for some reason will end up in the highest category of 8% since the DMV doesn't recognize MPGe  whereas a normal prius would only pay 1% tax

I've heard of folks getting quotes for $24.3 in Silver Spring. No idea what add ons that included, but try for lower and let us know!

I paid $21,750 Msrp for my 2018 Prius prime premium in October 2020.
Color is blizzard pearl, came with body side molding, and all weather floor mats.
    Princeton Toyota was the Deslership.
Out the door with the added warranty and dealer fees was around $24k

Gat DANG that is a truly remarkable price. I'm jealous at -$2k dealer discount and $5250 rebate w/ Uber in Portland, OR. I need someone to tell me that OR prices just aren't as good as ones in the Northeast because your deal has me straight-up salivating, you could probably sell that thing and make $8k+ after the tax credit.
