I purchased a 2021 XLE AWD in January. It is my third Prius - 2004 #7 went 150000 mi. with no problems, 2011 #4 went 108000 mi., again no problems. I now have 2000 miles on the new one and am blown away by how far they have advanced. The overall feel of the car is much more solid and the handling is vastly improved. Visibility is FAR superior which is appreciated now that I’m in my ‘golden ‘ years. The safety features are fantastic, especially with the Advanced Technology package. I know everyone here is aware of how great this car is, but I wanted to post this in case anyone came here looking for info before making a purchase. I want to thank the engineers at Toyota for building such a great car and the fans here at Priuschat for keeping us up to date on new features.

I'm in a similar position as i purchased a 2021 XLE in January after owning a 2014 3. Enjoying the added technology and with just over 5000 miles I have a lifetime fuel mileage average of 58.7mpg. On the '14 I could squeeze out an occasional 50 mpg tankful but most times it was about 46mpg.
