I was amazed to see a discharge rate of over 120 amps on hard acceleration!!! Is this correct. Based in the suggested charge rate of 1c for individual modules, I never dreamed it would pull that many amps.
When functioning normal. What charge and discharge rate does the car produce when driving?

I have a 2006 that I "refurbished" the HV battery on at 160k. During a HEAVY accel I see 150A discaharge and maybe 100A charge during hard braking. Mind you this only lasts for some tens of seconds at most. Typical driving might be 0 to +/- 40A.

Toyota helped design these modules specifically to handle the brief high currents in normal use, but only within a certain state of charge range. You want the current to be MUCH lower when you fully charge/ discharge the modules- otherwise the heat build up would ruin them.
