    i do not at the moment sorry but will get a picture next time i go to my workshop, its just a basic 12v constant voltage led driver around 1a from memory

    It happens that I have the parts from an old project. It is a simple PCB board to do it; I will add it to the parts list.

    @alftoy, how hot both transformers go? I am asking because right now, in the setup, they are resting in a plastic box (ammo box). If they go hot, I may need to raise it a little bit so that Air can Flow better Around the transformer. Also, the volt/amp can be feed with 12vdc? If it is like that, I can remove the voltage step down to feed that.

    My transformers are warm, I have lots of ventilation, but that ammo box might get warm, just monitor. Yes volt/amp works fine at 12vdc.

    Any thoughts on buying parts to build the fan controller for the hybrid battery's cooling fan yet?

    @PriusCamper, I was thinking it is only two cables from the 12vdc to the fan. I have the plug (junker visit), and I ordered the sp20 connector with four pins (two for the battery, two for the fan). Is it somethig different?

    It's a variable speed cooling fan that depends on relays... I've had many debates with people who insist they tested it and in theory it works just by hooking up a 12v to it... But in practice it doesn't work. I think @alftoy pulled up the schematics to build the fan controller in here or somewhere else. Hopefully he sees this and reposts it.

    @PriusCamper, I can do it as well. I hooked a 12vdc battery directly to the fan, and it works fine in full blast. I am interested to see how the relays are controlled.

    Every time somebody told me they did what you did, they later come back and say it doesn't work anymore. Not sure why or if that's means they broke it or not. I'd like to learn more from some one who knows?

    Shouldn't be too hard to run the fan with the Meanwell 12V power supply.

    Could use an Inkbird Temp Controller ITC-1000F 12V, on Amazon $15, $22 in Canada.

    But the purpose is to run the fan full speed while pack charging so not sure why we would use a temp controller.

    @alftoy, I agree with you! The schematics showed the 12v Meanwell power supply to feed the car fan. It has nothing fancy between the power supply and fan.

    I completed The Grid charger! I need to work in the discharge load section and cable to the traction battery.

    Looks fine. OlRowdy grid charger illustrated build was mighty helpful.

    I got side tracked, water pump on the Rav4. 4 hour road trip to go babysit grand kids. Halfway back water pump started leaking, over heated engine, luckily friend 20 minutes away, got some water, filled and made it back home. Service manual said to remove engine???? Wth??? Rav4 world to the rescue. Still waiting for some parts.

    Yes! The OlRowdy was super helpful! I still need to polish some details, but I like the product. I would do the timing belt simultaneously with the water pump in your Rav4, and I will get an original water pump! Good luck with the project!
