    Great thunk TB! Gonna look into that. (hey, dig the avatar!)

    I have been out of this for so long, I had no idea that tool cost didn't go up. (drain machines were crazy high but stayed the same for like 20 years) Drain cleaning prices about quadrupled. Not kidding. Corps found out there is money in them thar stench. and made the median prices, well. Not hard to be a price hero and still turn a good profit. Goal is to have 3 to 7 guys trained and busy in 5 years. I hope. Anyway..... But I am way under start-up budget. (big 'ol YEAH BABY!!!)

    Do we know anyone here or have an associate that does or would want to design, logo/design work for car wrap? I am so, so not good at that. It requires skill, talent, focus and being able to read and follow directions. Pretty much all my learning disabilities. They used to call it slow, snickers. Be way more fun playing with it with you guys. Car wrap place near me; http://www.cuadgraphics.com/vehicle-wraps

    Again and big time. Thanks. It's kinda me and the cat against the world and even just bouncing stuff is incredibly calming. That and the cat is tired of me talking about it.

    Gonna ask this be moved to a more appropriate forum. Don't want to take advantage of the forum's kindness asis.

    You can maybe get small trailer to put the equipment so it won't soil your car:cool:

    Yes. Another advantage is any lettering would be permanent. I just know the day after paying to have the Prius wrapped, it will suffer some terminal event. It's the law!
    I am not kidding, CH. It snowed this morning in Vernon! Actual snow. (just north east of Hartford)

    You should add hydrojet to your services too. One more small equipment to add:rolleyes:

    You laugh but really have been thinking about it! Got the idea from a hose and nozzle set they sell to use a handy-dandy cheap pressure washer as a jet. Works great for small lines from what I'm reading. Like restaurants with a lot of grease. I used to make a lot of cash working for local Hooters. But it is an odor that is a whole lot less than pleasant. But man! Power lubricated my equipment and was a fun place to work. They tipped me in beer and the people that worked there were a blast.

    Once had a salesman for large industrial/municipal hydrojets supplier offer to "demo" any one needed for $500. But he would demo it on bad lines that needed to be jetted. Kinda clever of him. He did it for every small shop in the area. So he had a double income.

    Honestly, I am uncomfortable with the big jets. Aside from being able to rip up just about anything. It'll sever limbs.

    Think if I went that route, I'd do the trailer. Anyone who knows what the machines are would realize the value and I don't think they would last long. Really want a prailer just to have one. It's like having a pickup when ever you need but people don't see it and decide your helping them move. "But you have a truck.? Why not?" "Cause I barly know you and not that enthused about spending a week-end moving you and being paid in pizza"

    The hitches are not that hard to install. Well, I only think that watching videos online. Not to bad cash wise either. (hmmmm)

    What I'd really like to purchase before a jet would be an inspection camera. The technology and prices for a professional grade camera have come a long way, too.

    Have to rent for a while. (Cam) But so handy and definitive.
    Saw a guy pay $2K to spot repair on his mainline. Killed a Japanese maple, destroyed his lawn and part of his driveway.
    Turned out to be a clogged line in the house.One of the rooter companies told him he needed a new one and I had bid on the job. Dodged a bullet there that a camera would have solved before that lil nightmare. Should have cost him around 100 bucks.

    "Tune in tomorrow for more "Sewer chat" 8PM central..." LoL.
    (and I wonder why the cat is board with this stuff)

    Awesome concept, CH. Did you have any problems with the blow-back and making a mess?

    For only $800 more;

    (LoL) Will have to get this or something similar.

    Not enough power to break lines unless real bad and 23 LBS.

    Just looked it up. Can get a 4000 PSI electric pressure washer for2 to a few hundred. Add a cloghog and for less than $500 have the same thing.

    Could take parts and some diamond plate to make it a single unit. And still cheaper....
    Really is an idea.

    Since you will have it hooked up to pressure washer there is some control over the pressure. But yeah the stuff coming back my way I have a bucket to catch it and dump until I break through. Inside the house lines, its mostly grease and gunk. Its when you leave the house into the yard you might have to deal with roots and stuff, and thats where you use the larger jet heads.

    That video is pretty interesting as they have coil snake head to help it guide around the turns. That will be good for the larger lines. The ones in my house are smaller lines and that head will not make the turns. Thats why I got the clog hog, its able to do the 1 1/2" lines with 90 degree elbows.

    @Danny3xd () Its wierd I watched the product on another video and I thought I saw a jet shooting forward in the video you posted. In this video there are no jets shooting forward ..If that is the case I might look for one that has jets shooting forward to help cut the clog.

    It depends on which head you choose. They come in different configurations depending on what your doing. Say your going towards the house/inside the building. With a backward directed head, all the waste and water comes backward and away from structure. Some spin for root cutting. (kinda cool) I saw on the clog hog web site there are only a few options. I am sure there must be more that would fit.

    But here are some pics. Many options depending on what you need to do;

    Dang! The S&M drain cleaning service.

    That one is from a cable machine. Not gonna post here but just now saw a post from a guy on reddit. He showed his hand after using one. Then a picture of the cable and his finger.

    They were in separate pictures and places.

    Fresh air is one thing however, once things dry, they become dust like and spread quickly. I think maybe come up with a way to get some plexiglass cut to fit the back and seal it a bit. Or simply get something akin to a body bag that lets you seal the messy tools away till you get them home and steam clean them off
