Likely a lot of “let’s do everything while it’s opened up” logic in the earlyish coolant and plugs. And maybe no reason to do injectors?

Exhaust Gas Recirculation “can” be done with minimal disturbance of the coolant, and I’d leave the plugs till next time.

    Is “new coolant” just engine?

A lot of this is voluntary for me. I have the money now and I wanted to get maintenance done that will restore engine to nearly new. Cost estimate ranging $199 $399, depending on how deep we go. I just wanted to get the main things taken apart, and, upon inspection, they have the "go ahead" to do it. My goal is to go well beyond 200k miles and knowing the simple things like fuel injectors have been cleaned and plugs replaced will keep me from getting unnecessary work done when I have to take it to the dealer for some "recall issue". Just covering myself while I have the funds.

Also, I drove a lot this last year,..............yeah, the complete opposite of most of you! I did some side work that I am licensed to do and really put on the miles. Doing this work allowed me to save some money. I am now back at my old job and not driving as much but while I have the funds, I wanted to do some maintenance earlier than needed. In a nutshell, it may be overkill but they Hybridpit is not a dealership, they know our cars from top to bottom and I trust their work and judgement. Could I do this maintenance myself? Most likely, but it would entail a lot of time for me. I go by the 2 and 2 rule. If it will take me over two hours to do and cost over $200 to have done, I have it done. Less than two hours to do and less than $200 in cost, I do it myself.

If they do all that work for $399 and it includes a proper egr cleaning, that is a great deal. I would question them closely on the scope of work.

Dealership is asking $6K CDN for the car?

With 300K kms on it you NEED to be prepared for EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) cleaning. If it hasn't been done, the car is well into the failed head gasket territory. See info in my signature.

Definitely test drive. See if you can do a cold-start*; ask in advance. If you show up and they've "warmed it up for you", that would be a red flag.

    * Listen for unusual noises during start up, rythmic knocking/shaking in particular.

How much does EGR cleaning or replacement cost ?
Will the EGR spray cleaner can get the job done.
I test drive it, felt smooth. No vibrations, fuel consumption was 48mpg. Lifted the car & tie rods & brakes seemed good.
Aren't toyota prius known to survive long milage?
Can I expect it to survive 450,000km ?

    Absolutely not.

That is good but I would have an independent check.

If its for Uber, verify the maximum mileage they allow. I believe it is 150,000 miles. The price seems low for the current market, probably too low. Check for the reason on a 2015.

The Prius I just bought was also priced low, and it turned out to have an altered odometer.

Definitely have a pro look at it, and maybe hook it up to the computer (OBD reader).

Who would I report it to? One problem I have is that I have no way of proving that the used car dealer actually knew about it. I'm not sure they did, actually.

if you can manage something like an oil change, you can DIY clean (no replacement needed), for virtually nothing. With those kms, it would be good to replace the (pliable) intake manifold gaskets (there’s 3, at interfaces with engine, throttle body and EGR pipe). Chemicals: a can or two of brake cleaner and (my personal pref) some Oxi-Clean powdered laundry additive. A solution of the latter is good for the EGR cooler. You’re basically cleaning the intake manifold, all EGR components, and might as well get the throttle body (with some carb cleaner) while it’s off. More info in link in my signature*.

    * If viewing on a phone, turning it landscape should reveal sig.

But other than altered odometer were there any other problems with the car ?

I confirmed from uber in Toronto, there is no mileage limit on car. & it used to be a driving school car.
The hybrid battery has been replaced a year ago (not original)
There is also powertrain warranty for 6 months/12,000km limit.
I saw the carfax report, no accidents reported. Not salvaged & maintenance was done at Toyota delaer.
