Side Mirror Replacement

    Hi!
    Someone hit my car and smashed the side mirror- the casing is still intact but I’m wondering how difficult it is to reconnect the wiring for a mirror replacement and/or how to do it. I have the blind spot monitor.

    I haven’t been able to find much online beyond just the basic replacement. My apologies if this has already been covered on a different thread!

    Did it rip out the wiring? This is the sort of thing that I'd let the dealer handle. I'm tired of scrimping and although I'm retired, I don't want to mess with these sorts of things anymore.

    Many, many years ago, when I was 16, I was backing out of the garage and didn’t notice the passenger side mirror wouldn’t clear the side of the garage. Ripped it right off. Dad was not happy.
