:ROFLMAO::D:p LoL; Jimbo lives in MS; my sister lives in northwestern MS and sent me a picture of sub-dollar a gallon gas when we were locked-down. They're probably only paying around $2.50/gallon. Hawaii, NYC, and SFO are historically the highest gas prices in the country.
You know the refineries will take their sweet time ramping up production. High demand + low inventory = Fatter profit margins; especially now that everyone is getting back to work.
I also heard that there's a shortage of qualified/licensed fuel tanker truckers.

It went up 20 cents a gallon here yesterday while this discussion was going on. :D It went from $2.659 in the morning to $2.859 in the afternoon at the 7-11 I go past on the way to and from work. The Texaco across the street was two cents cheaper at both times.

Over $4 per gallon in Cali. Wondering when it will hit $5. Supposedly it's because of a shortage of tanker drivers. Probably caused by high oil futures too with the shutdown of pipelines and limitations on fracking.

Saw a Toyota ad on TV saying there's a $4000 customer cash discount on Primes in Cali, so obviously no shortage of Primes here.

with the admins new immigration policies, there will be plenty of drivers soon, and prices will start to decline in the fall.
