Went to see the guys at HybridPit yesterday for a new set of tails, routine oil change+ additive, OCC empty and tire rotate. Still getting 50+mpg at 155k. Always happy to see them and meet new friends while I’m at it.

@Vman455 old post i know, but wondering if you did any further sealing with the weatherstripping and how it's worked? I'd like to do something similar for a lil quieter ride without adding a bunch of heavy dynamat/killmat. Are the pieces you used adhered with an adhesive to the inner part of the rear door? Hard to tell from the pic. And did you find any that worked for the bottom edges? Any tips appreciated!

Did this a month ago but posting it now with results.
New tires Pilot Sport AS 3+, 235/40-18.
    Old tires Azenis RT615K, 235/40-18.
Michelin’s are not only wider and a pound heavier but also much comfortable for daily driving, quieter and helped gain back 4 MPG overall.

It was a while ago, but I think what I ended up using was a Model 3 door seal kit I found online. The seals for the back door edge worked well; the bottom door edges pretty well; and the front edge of the front doors not at all. I haven't really looked around for something that would work in the front, it's just a large gap and the way the door opens (the front edge swings inward of the fender) means none of the available gaskets really fit.

Replaced the oil pressure switch on mine today. Had this urge check the oil today after seeing a puddle in the parking lot at work(not in my spot), and found the oil down about 1/3 of a quart. Looked behind the right wheel and found the under panel to be wet. Took the cowl off and found the switch to be dripping. Had to have caught just as it started.

I put on some “Wish” obtained vent visors three years ago this week. One of them fell off today as I was trying to wash the windows. 12 foot of 3M brand two sided tape and they stick better then new.

Installed Gen 4 weatherstrip as shown by another priuschatter. Fits like it was meant to be there expect for being about 2 inches short at the bottom. It's hooked at the top and goes under the existing trim, the rest has adhesive. No difference noted in sound but wasn't expecting any, at least not until some other weatherstripping is applied around the rest of the doors.

Also, finally acquired the ECU and inverter cover (which takes a new bracket) for the engine bay! Already put in the much less useful coolant reservoir cover. Note, on my 2015, the inverter cover was not a direct fit. I compared pics others have posted of their install and discovered the 2015 has a larger bracket on the upper right (for ground?) that interferes. It also has a half cover on the lower half that gets in the way. So the half cover had to go and the new inverter cover was modded with an Xacto to fit around the bracket. Now it's snug as a bug.

I keep forgetting to put up what I've done to my 2013 Prius 3, so here's some of my video links.

I've changed the interior lights to LED
I've changed out the factory headlight assemblies for resurfaced (restored) ones

Discovered my original AC condenser had developed a leak so it was out with the old and in with new. Lots of highway miles so lots of bugs and rock chips.

While I had the bumper off, installed a mesh to protect the new condenser and inverter cooler on the upper slots.

I used and old window bug screen so it was free and up-cycled! Used hot glue gun to glue it / melt it to the grille. We will see how it holds up to carwashes and how difficult it will be to clean lol. I think that mesh is too fine and will restrict air flow. It might even blow back from the air pressure pushing against it when at highway/freeway speeds.

I've used both expanded aluminum mesh from ebay, and also the plastic roll type gutter leaf guards with success. These types of mesh have holes around 1/4 to 3/8 inch wide, big enough to easily pass air through, but small enough to screen out or deflect/slow down rocks big enough to damage the ac and radiator fins/tubes.

You should also cover the lower grill openings as well, not just the upper openings. There's a lot of radiator exposed down there.

It was as I suspected it pulls metal out of the oil. I dont use it on the oil plug or oil pan though because the oil filter I take off and dispose of, where as the oil plug magnetizes the entire pan and I cannot
    Clean that easily
