cold air intake??

Is it worth putting a cold air intake?

 

On traditional ICE cars, cold air intakes are for people wanting more power, e.g. for racing. These people generally are not buying a Prius.

Eco-modders wanting greater MPG or fuel efficiency have instead added warm air intakes.

 

cold air intake might increase throttle response a little bit; I've had one on my car for years, but I've never been able to race another Prius to see if there's really any difference. it looks cool though and at least if you remove the plastic baffle box it sounds a little better when you step on it. i would do the sway bar upgrade before CAI, unless you just want it to look cool.
