    Worth noting: “After the trial period ends, a paid subscription is required. More detail on trial-periods and subscription-based features will be available at the on-sale date.” I wonder which features will work without ongoing payment.

    As for paid services, Safety Connect for sure. Maybe some of the Connected Services. (Currently, that includes Remote Connect, WiFi Connect and Service Connect).

    If they tie Google POI to Connected Services, they'll shoot themselves in the foot, just like they did with ScoutGPS
