    I just moved to PA and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a Prius mechanic near Scranton PA?

    The engine light came on. Back in cali they said it had something to do with the battery temperature sensor. I had the spark plugs changed and the light came on only after that. Before that, my check engine light hadn’t come on. First they said the light was due to the O2 sensor and I had that changed. Light came on again the day I picked up the car from the mechanic. Took it back and they said it was now this temperature sensor or a new computer. Unfortunately, I had to move before the mechanic could figure it out.

    how many miles on her?

    the egr is 'exhaust gas recirculation' valve, for pollution reduction. the circuit is the whole assembly, including the intake manifold.
    but that is down the road. concentrate on the lights and trouble codes for now.

    are there any symptoms?

    I really don’t feel any issues. The only thing I noticed is the mpg went down slightly after the spark plug and air filter change.

    :ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO:.

    @SCalpri , is the engine coolant level stable?

    Do you have the original list of codes the prior mechanic pulled?

    Good luck and keep us posted(y).

    they might have put in the wrong plugs, not torqued properly, loose wire, or even counterfeit plugs
