I purchase my Prius a year ago, and it came with 15" wheels. I had always the idea that the back was to low.
This week I purchase some 17 inch wheels and when changing them I looked at my coils and dampers and it all looks good.

Wonder if this is correct, or can it be that the back is lowered??

Left and right side are the same

Looks a little low maybe but not bad. Get under the back of the car on the ground and take a lot of pictures of the suspension pay special attention to the struts.

I haven’t a clue where Ijmuiden is so don’t know what the climate is.

many many reports of bad rust and the rear end Strut/spring broken from corrosion.

It is in The Netherlands and is a cool coastal climate.

The OP could also check the rear springs to check that are not cracked or damaged in any way.

Yeah anywhere in the world, please include some country info. Avoid esoteric abbreviations too.

Here are leaf helper springs for $20 for a set of 2. The rear springs generally are very weak springs on the 2nd Prius. I put these rubber spacers and was able to keep the rear sag to a minimum and these spacers don't effect the driving characteristics of the cars handling.
I decided to drill holes and zip tie the rubber spacers so it wouldn't fall out. I can see these spacers falling out if the rear end articulate over bumps.
Rear both shows before and after shot car with 200 lbs stuff in the trunk. 20191230_144754.jpg 20191230_143518.jpg 20191230_142744.jpg IMG_20200108_225814.jpg

Yup! It's been on for 3 years no problem. I just drove a 1000 mile Overlanding trip with 900 lbs gear and people in the Prius. I tow stuff with the Prius and the rear hitch height is very important when towing and tongue weight should be accounted under heavy load and braking. 20210714_184450.jpg 20210623_121135.jpg IMG_20200108_225814.jpg 20200209_115805.jpg
